Notes
Meditation labyrinth and antique autos on property. Camping facilities nearby.

We’ve been here several times over the years. Our first time was at the recommendation of a fellow red-wine lover, and we’ve also attended some of their wine pairing dinner events. Dirt driveway and parking lot with plenty of parking. The property is lovely, and the tasting room is pretty cool with lots of old/historic Ramona memorabilia to look at while you taste. There’s an outdoor patio with views of the vineyards as well as the cute little “Vintage in the Vineyard” Airbnb travel trailer, which is available for overnight rental.
WINES: Their staff is friendly and explains each wine, local or estate grapes, flavors, pairings, etc. The wines were very tasty, especially their reds (Merlot, Petite Sirah, Syrah, Zinfandel, and Cab Sauv.). The tastings and wines are reasonably priced. We’ve also attended one of their catered wine dinners, which in our case was to spotlight their 2019 Syrah release. The meal was catered by their Assit. Winemaker, Kitty Brisbane, who also has her own catering company, “Something Delicious”, which caters full meals, as well as provides box lunches to many of the Ramona wineries (must pre-order on her website: somethingdelicious.net)
I would recommend making Hatfield Creek a destination the next time you’re in Ramona.
