   IMO, the best red wines in Temecula Valley! We’ve visited many times over the years, as this is one of our favorite wineries (and we used to be members). Howard and Roxy are always providing wonderful service and insightful information regarding GB’s wines and food pairings. Typically, the tastings include varietals grown at the estate, such as Cabernet Franc, Zinfandel, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Roussanne, with other varietals sourced from Temecula vineyards. They also offer three (3) wonderful dessert wines made from Primitivo grapes (standard, vanilla, and mocha flavors). These are a little lighter than most Port or Port-style and Late Harvest dessert wines. Each tasting comes with a small package of baked bread sticks or gourmet chips for wine clique members, and recently they’ve offered pre-made charcuterie trays. I always preface my winery reviews by saying that wine tasting is subjective to the individual’s palate, service is not. The wines I like/dislike, you may hate/love. I always suggest that you try and decide for yourself.

   There’s a large indoor tasting room, as well a large, covered patio offering great views of the surrounding vineyards, hills, and neighboring wineries. They also have a separate area away from the tasting facility that hosts weddings and other events.

   I can’t recommend Gershon Bachus highly enough for fantastic wines and great service.
