  1. Our last stop of our day in los Olivos. Several people (including those working in other tasting rooms) recommended it to us. By the time we got there—late afternoon—the inside tasting room was full. We got seats on the porch on the shady side of the building.

    Although we couldn’t interact with the other patrons, Nick took excellent care of us. He was friendly, knowledgeable—not only about the wine, but also about the region. He even gave us recommendations for places to get dinner, and a shortcut to get to Solvang.

    We brought home a bottle of Syrah and another of Sauvignon Blanc.
