Nancy & I drove up the hill to see what they were up to. We’ve been here before, but it’s been four or five years. Nice day on the shaded patio—warm but not too hot. The tasting room was not very busy (seems to be a common theme, where ever we go this summer). We had a flight of four red blends—all named after aircraft that one of the owners has flown when he was a test pilot. I bought a bottle of “P47 Thunderbolt.”
Also had a “small bite” sampler (prosciutto, brie, crackers and fig jam). It was nice, but everything came still in it packaging from the store—this is probably a holdover from COVID protocols. My one (minor) disappointment is that they no longer allow outside food.
We’ll be back.
