  1. Driving through Paso on our way home, and stopped for some lunch. Downtown was pretty quiet—maybe because its Sunday, maybe because it pretty hot out. A few restaurants seemed busy, many were closed. Across the street from the deli where we were eating was Cloak and Dagger—interesting name, so we checked it out.

    Cool and dark inside, very lounge-like. Very friendly young woman running the tasting room. We had a nice conversation about the wine, about the winery, and about the area.

    Brought home a bottle of “the assassin” red blend.
