It’s a drizzly Saturday afternoon; mostly-local shoppers on the street. Way down at the end, next to the old movie theater is a small tasting room, easy to miss. The woman in the tasting room (the winemaker’s wife) was great! We had a good conversation about the vineyard, the wines, the wine business in general, and where the grapes originated.
They grow and vine wines from lesser-know Italian and Eastern European varietals; and blend them in non-traditional ways. Really nice wines. we brought home a bottle of the “Cristallo”—their white blend, and a bottle of Lagrein—a red varietal.
