In the middle of the Edna Valley, there once was a the town of Edna. The town is no more, but some of the buildings remain. The old general store houses the Sextant tasting room and deli. The inside seating area is not large (much of the space is taken up by the deli kitchen), but there is a large, very nice outside seating area. On a sunnier-than-normal December afternoon, we sat outside. The place was moderately busy.
This is the only tasting room in this area that serves more-than-snacks. We had a couple of nice paninnis and a very respectable chocolate chip cookie.
Our server was excellent. Good discussion about the town, the region, and the wines we were tasting. I brought home a nice GSM blend.
