  1. I really find this place very comfortable. The architecture is reminiscent of the old lodges in national parks. The tasting room is surrounded by mature trees, so even on a very hot July afternoon, the covered patio was a pleasant place to sit. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We didn’t have any food this time (we were on our way to dinner just after). If we lived in the area, this place could become a regular weekly hangout. I brought home a bottle of a portuguese-grape red blend, and one of port.

  2. Stopped in just at opening time on a Sunday morning—there was already a group of folks waiting to get in (a good sign). The spacious tasting room was all decked out for Halloween.

    We sat out on the covered deck and had lunch with our tasting (they serve food—which is a real plus during a day of tastings). Good sandwich, good wine, nice people working the tasting room. This place is definitely on my “I’ll be back” list.
