  1. We stopped by this tasting room in the charming town of Mariposa on our way to Yosemite. The tasting flight (5) was $20, waived with purchase of 2 bottles. One of the owners was on site and gave nice pours. Many of the wines were estate grown on Mt. Bullion at 3000ft. The delightful owner knew the area well, provided interesting history of the area and how some of their wines got their names, e.g. Jessie’s Zin. The wines were well made and enjoyable. Especially liked and purchased Man’s Best Blend (Cab, Syrah, Merlot), May Rock their estate cab, and Jessie’s Zin. Tasting room was comfortable and warm on a chilly rainy fall afternoon. The owner even gave us local dining options to try out during our trip.
