This hidden gem is a little off the beaten path but offers the most beautiful views of any winery we’ve been to in Southern California! Owners, Kim & George, are very friendly and offer up a huge selection of white and red wines. There’s a first floor tasting room/bar, as well as a spiral staircase that leads to a large rooftop patio with fantastic views. You can definitely enjoy a glass or bottle and the views all the way to the ocean.
WINES: The Beach House property is 4 acres total, with 2 acres planted with grapes. The tasting menu lists approx. 15 wines and we’ve even tried a couple that weren’t on the menu. We liked almost everything we tasted, especially the reds. On one occasion, they offered a 30% off mixed case price special. They have such a huge list of varietals I’m pretty sure there will be something you’ll like.
Parking can be a challenge. If there’s no spaces open at the top of the hill, you’ll have to park along the side of a fairly steep driveway. The one plus I noticed, is that George ran people up and down the hill with his golf cart, but I don’t know if that’s always available. That aside, I highly recommend you visit and see for yourself.
