  1. Two Tasting Flight options: $30/5 pours; Tasting Flight with Wine Pearls (chocolate cake pop infused with wine) $35/5 pours. NOTE: For groups of 6 or more, they offer tastings at the vineyard.

First visit and had a very nice tasting experience. The winery is in the heart of downtown Los Alamos, directly across the street from the post office. It has a cozy vibe with a nice wine bar and lounge seating area. Ramon, the owner/winemaker, was friendly and provided an interesting history of his family’s wine journey. My wife and I shared the two tastings: Estate wines (Grenache, Syrah Noir, and Cab. Sauv.) and Meadowlark Vineyard wines (Syrah, Meritage, Red Blend, and Reserve Cab. Sauv.). They have 17 acres planted at the estate vineyard and they use French oak barrels, with a blend of new and neutral for aging. They produce about 600-800 cases a year, so definitely a boutique winery. The wines are well-made, and quite tasty. We took several bottles home with us.

Amada Cellars is a nice place, and I recommend that you check them out when visiting the Los Alamos/Santa Ynez wine region.
