Sunday late morning, on the way home from a weekend of wine tasting…The small blue sign on Hwy 49 said “Winery 7mi,” there was a gas station at the intersection (we need gas anyway), so we turned. After gassing up and following the small signs along the 7 miles of country road, we found the place—it is off the beaten track. But it was worth the trip!
Jen, in the tasting room was friendly and knowledgable. While we were there, a couple of club-member locals came in to pick up wine. We talked to them a bit. We bought the viognier and the petit sirah—it was a split decision, so we got both.
