An AVA in Humboldt County at the northern extreme of California’s wine country. Delimited in 1983, it covers a section of the Trinity River valley around the town of Willow Creek on the edge of Humboldt County, with a small part of the AVA protruding into Trinity County.
The AVA includes 6,000 acres (2,428 ha) in the center of the Six Rivers National Forest, and has had as many as five wineries and 30 acres (12 ha) in wine grape production.
