We’ve heard a lot about this winery over the years and have tried several times to stop in, but it always seemed so busy. We heard that they are a “party winery” and their wines are “rustic”. Well, I can confirm that this is a party winery (in a good way), however we felt that their wines are extremely well-made and quite refined. We shared two tastings and sampled a mix of whites and reds, and all were very nice (in fact, we took 6 bottles home with us). We caught the tail end of some live music, and they had a pizza vendor onsite to satisfy your munchie desires. The large deck with umbrella covered tables was crowded, but friendly, and offers nice views across the hills.
Because we arrived late in the afternoon, our experience was a little rushed, but we enjoyed the wines so much, we made a pledge to return soon for a follow up visit…stay tuned.
