  1. A friend invited me to join him (and what turned out to be a group of 8) here for a tasting. I was a little early (traffic was uncharacteristically cooperative)—no problem, I was seated and offered a menu. In addition to the wine, they have a kitchen that serves real food (not just snacks). I had a very nice turkey sandwich. If I were a local, I could see stopping here often for lunch.
    The tasting was a flight of 5 wines: a Sparkling White, a Sauvignon Blanc, a Sangiovese, a Cabernet Sauvignon, and a Syrah. After the flight, someone ordered a bottle of their Rosso Delight Red Blend and we all had a taste of that. I enjoyed all of the wines (though, I’m not a big fan of sparkling wines). Bought a bottle of the Red Blend, and one of the Sauvignon Blanc.
